Years ago I started reading "Supernatural" by Graham Hancock... Through that book I got really interested in alternative models of archaeology and anthropology, and eventually found my way to Michael Cremo's book "Forbidden Archaeology" and William Sullivan's "The Secret of the Incas". Found lots of great videos on youtube eventually as well: Forbidden Archaeology (covers many topics): Older Graham Hancock (material from Fingerprints of the Gods and Supernatural): Newer Graham Hancock (material from Magicians of the Gods): For some more great info from Graham in a lighter and funnier format more focused on Ayahuasca look into Grahams interviews with Joe Rogan! (I think there are 3?) Ancient Aliens Debunked (fun one that debunks the Ancient Aliens TV show while also teaching about some interesting theories): Solutreans Documentary (follows a theory about the first Europeans to make it to America - fun to watch): I know there are some more good ones out there, but these are a few of my favorites...
