Happy birthday!
Sounds like a fun spread... I cant say much about it or add much as I am unfamiliar with that deck... I use my intuition with tarot more then rigid meanings for each card and I feel each deck has its own personality for each card. I have 3 decks I use at home (I own more, but only use 3 of them normally) and 2 I wont reverse cards in readings and one I do - because I think the decks have different personalities and only one of them likes to be read with reverse meanings. I may be funny like that, but it works pretty well for me...
Had an interesting reading for someone yesterday actually. We had a day long meditation ceremony in the park and when we got home she asked for a tarot reading to confirm her insights from the day.
As she is shuffling two cards fell out and she set them aside for a while. Eventually she decided to shuffle them back in and we both joked that they would come out again in the reading anyways. They totally both came out in the reading anyways lol...
We did a Celtic Cross or Wand and Chalice spread (my favorite spread). The reading completely described the situation she had asked about in ceremony and went along directly with her guidance from the day - but added some focus points for her to keep in mind and make the most of her ceremony. It's hard to describe how spot on it was without going into her personal details, but it was one of those "creepy good" readings. I dont read tarot as often as I used to, so I was really glad to have such a fun and powerful reading - it's a lot of fun for me when strong messages come through that way.
Tarot is actually the first tool or practice I really got to know on my spiritual path. Really insightful in so many ways. Takes a while to study and get to know it well, but you can do good readings right away with the book usually. Just takes longer before you learn to read without having to look things up...
