I remember I met you through these people.... I think the story they sell sounds so fun and exciting that you really want to believe it... There are so many red flags, but the people are usually nice and seem smart enough, so you want to believe them too.
Once you get to know them personally however, you realize they all lie about almost everything and they all have so many personal problems (usually more then anyone else I know). The stories contradict each other and dont make sense, but you keep thinking maybe there is more that will pull it all together? They keep telling you there is a deeper level, but eventually you realize it isnt any deeper - just more expensive.
Actually I have to thank you for helping me leave that sales-group (they arent a school, just a marketing program and pyramid scheme). When you left Seattle it brought to our attention a more direct example of their hypocrisy and suddenly I couldnt ignore all the other red flags they had convinced me to sweep under the rug. It's funny - they told me they would help make all my dreams reality, but the longer I worked with them the harder and less fulfilling my life got. As soon as I left the school all my dreams started coming to me, and every year since I left has been better and better.
I am glad we are both out of that group - nothing but dogma there.
