I love transformational festivals and think they are a great way to build community, help people heal and overcome social anxieties, and also share our art and talents with the world. I dont go to as many of these as I used to, but I am hoping to make it to one or two smaller festivals this summer. A friend I have met a few times made a few documentaries about these festivals a while ago and I think others would enjoy them: thebloomseries.com/Really fun videos that get to the heart of what these type of events are about - a really fun watch! Hope you enjoy

Awesome! A lot of my friends say that is one of their favorites, but I have never been. I actually havent gone to any festivals in a couple years because we have been spending summers in Peru lately.... This is the first summer in a while where we have some time around home before Peru so it looks like we will try to make 1-2 smaller events happen.... No finalized plans yet though...

Anyone going to the Barter festival this year? www.okanoganfamilyfaire.net/There is some non-family activity but it can't be out in the open due to lawyers.

I havent been to barter fair yet, but my wife always wants to go... I think we will make it at some point - maybe even this year, who knows? Just got back from Peru last night, so probably in the next week or so we will start seeing what events we want to vend at this fall.... I always hear good things about barter fair though!
